Matthew Lewis - Director of Rehabilitation, Physical Therapist, MHA

Biography:

Matthew is originally from North Carolina, and moved to New Mexico in early 2021 to lead the rehabilitation team at RMCH. He has a B.S. degree in Physical Therapy from Winston-Salem State University, and a Master’s degree in Health Administration from Pfeiffer University. He has 24 years of experience in clinical patient care as well as leadership roles in inpatient hospital, outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, sports medicine, and long-term care. Matthew’s clinical specialties include neurologic rehabilitation, amputee rehabilitation, post-acute rehabilitation, as well as wheelchairs and seating/positioning.
