Nuclear Med Tech - Nuclear Medicine
Position Summary:
Under the limited supervision of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs radiographic procedures at a technical level with minimal to no supervision. As will all Diagnostic Imaging Technologists, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist is qualified to care for patients in the following age groups; neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for completing all duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Education:
Graduation from an accredited Radiology program required.
Completion of a certified Nuclear Medicine Technology program at an AMA approved school and/or an equivalent combination of training and experience as accepted by accrediting agencies is required.

Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year experience in Nuclear Medicine equipment and procedures.

Required Licensure/Certification(s):
Current NM State Licenses, current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and current Nuclear Medicine certificate are required.
Current verification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. (If BLS verification is not current upon hire must be obtained within three (3) months of hire.
