RMCHCS Undergoes a Successful Accreditation Survey

On Tuesday, July 22, four surveyors from The Joint Commission arrived, unannounced, at Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care Services Services (RMCHCS) to conduct a rigorous survey of the organization. The surveyors were on site for four days and were impressed by the patient care delivered at RMCHCS. They were complimentary of the dedication of RMCHCS staff, providers and leadership and of the organization's continuous focus on patient safety and good, quality care.

All healthcare facilities must be accredited and/or granted "deemed status" by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The Joint Commission is one of the agencies that provides accreditation and deem status. Because of the successful survey, RMCHCS was once again granted accreditation for another 36 months.
